Ashley Davies and Elena Wallace became the first two recipients of the Clear Creek School Alumni Scholarship in June, 2011. 

Ashley attended Clear Creek from kindergarten through eighth grade and will use her $750.00 award when she attends UC Davis, home of the Aggies, in September. A member of the NU Theatrical Dance program for her four years of high school and active member of many high school service clubs, she also distinguished herself as a graduating Valedictorian.

Elena attended Clear Creek from the fourth grade through the eighth grade and will use her $750.00 award when she becomes a member of the Bulldogs at California State University, Fresno in the fall. In addition to her many club activities and student government positions in high school, Elena spearheaded the fundraising for this scholarship by implementing what is hoped to be an annual event--- The Clear Creek Chocolate Celebration. Her efforts raised more than $1000.00 toward this scholarship fund.
