I can't believe that we are already into the month of April. This school year is passing too quickly! I wanted to update you on activities we have planned for this month and some for May.
- If your child does any work on the computer, ask him or her about home row finger placement. We are now learning about correct finger placement on the Alpha Smart keyboards. Mrs. Hannebrink's students have been great tutors in helping our students with typing skills.
- April 23 will be our Open House. Plan to enjoy a BBQ put on by our PTC then view art work on display in classrooms.
- April 24 is the due date for the second book report. Students will have a book report due in late May also.
- On April 25 Mrs. Slate will work with Hayden, Riley, and Taylor to make chocolate chip cookies. Xochitl and Kailey will be our bakers in May.
- Star testing will begin the week of April 28. I will plan our testing schedule following our teacher training session on April 18.
