Congratulations to our 7th & 8th grade volleyball teams. The 8th grade volleyball team took 1st place and the 7th grade team took 2nd place at the county tournament. Great job lady cougars. A big thank you goes to Mrs. Cramer and Mrs. Kauffman for coaching. |

The Scholastic Book Fair will arrive on May 7th and will begin first thing May 8th. The Book Fair will be open before school, lunchtime, after school May 8th through May 11th, and during Open House. Our sales goal for the book fair is to sell $2500 (before tax) so that we may receive 25% total the sales in CASH! The cash will then be used to purchase library books next year since funding has been eliminated. Thanks for supporting your student’s school library. |

The end of the year is upon us and PTC still has work to do and events to host! You’re invited to help and participate in each of the upcoming events. PTC officer nomination forms for the 2012-13 school year have been sent home. Please fill it out and return it to the office so your nominations will count! May 7th is staff appreciation day. PTC will be hosting a breakfast for all of the staff. If you’d like to contribute food to the breakfast or help with setting up and cleaning up, please call Kelli 432-6551. On Wednesday, May 9th PTC will be hosting a BBQ before Open House. Families are encouraged to attend. Cost for a meal is $5/person, and includes a hamburger, chips and a drink. The BBQ is from 5:30-6:30pm. Following the classroom viewing is Bingo night in the multi-purpose room hosted by PTC. Bingo is a mere $1 per card suggested donation Looking ahead to the last week of school is Cougarpawlooza. This is a celebration that will be on June 6th from 10am-2pm. Parent volunteers are needed in various activities such as crafts, bounce houses, face painting, BBQ and more. A volunteer sign up sheet will be available in the office, at open house, or you can contact Kim Gilliland 559-9023. The next PTC meeting is on May 7th at 3:05pm, See you there!
