Welcome to the Clear Creek Library!
Our students finished strong in reading this 2023-24 school year and we thank everyone for their participation in the Lions Club April Reading Challenge. We also wanted to thank families for their support of our Scholastic Book Fair, which was another wonderful success and we were just under our goal! We can’t wait to see everyone in August for the 2024-25 school year!

Keep your reading skills sharp this summer with many library programs going on in the county. Visit the Calendar (please link word “Calendar” to https://nevadacounty.evanced.info/signup) to see a schedule of events – there’s something for every age group – at multiple libraries in Nevada County!
Read, Renew, Repeat! Summer Learning for Kids & Teens with Nevada County Library
June 15th – August 10th
This summer the Library highlights practicing conservation. Conservation is how we protect nature. By taking care of habitats, protecting biological diversity, and educating ourselves (at our local libraries!), we can all do our part. Hope to see you at the Library this summer!
Starting June 15th, you can stop by your local library to pick up a reading log or register on Beanstack (please link “Beanstack” to: https://mynevadacounty.beanstack.com/reader365).
All participants receive a free book and seed paper bookmark when you sign up to get started on your summer reading journey!
Get halfway through the reading challenge by July 15 and be entered into a $20 raffle!
Drop off your reading log by August 16th to be entered in the grand prize drawing and a chance to win a $50 Visa Gift Card!
All participants receive a completion prize and a voucher for two free ride tickets to the Nevada County Fair!*

Book Donations & Wishlist
Our library could not be such a wonderful resource for all of our students without our school families support and generosity!
Donations – we would love to add newer, good- to new-condition and undamaged book donations to our shelves! If you’re sorting through shelves at home and have some books to donate, we hope you’ll think of the library!
Wishlist – we’ve created an ongoing Library Wishlist on Amazon for books that would be great additions to the current collection. We kindly prefer hardcover and library editions so the books will have long lifespans on the shelves, if possible. Link Coming Soon!
