Hello, I am Emily Smith (Mrs. Smith). I am so excited to join Clear Creek School this year and teach the sixth grade. I cannot wait to meet all of my students and their families in just a few short weeks. I grew up on the outskirts of Placerville and attended schools like Clear Creek. I always dreamed about teaching in a school setting like this and am so fortunate to have the opportunity to continue to teach and live up in the beautiful foothills.
Outside of being a teacher I spend most of my time outside with my husband and two boys. We love to hike, swim, and spend time with our families. I also love to travel, play volleyball, and read a good book. I recently completed my master’s degree in teaching at William Jessup University and love being in the classroom whether it is as a student or a teacher. My hope is to instill that same love for learning in my students!
